Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)
DRCC utilizes millimeter-wave radar and a monocular camera to detect the vehicle in front, enabling your Prado to maintain a safe distance while following. It can also bring it to a stop in traffic and adjust speed when navigating curves.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
To enhance safety during reversing, RCTA detects vehicles approaching from behind on either side when backing out of a parking space. If another vehicle is detected, you will be alerted by a sound and a flashing indicator light on the mirror.
Safe Exit Assist (SEA)
SEA detects nearby vehicles approaching from behind when occupants exit the vehicle. If another vehicle approaches, occupants are alerted by an indicator light on the mirror. If an occupant attempts to open the door, they are warned by an alert sound, a flashing indicator light on the outer rear-view mirror, and the dashboard.
